Who we are

Bella Nail Headspa LLC, doing business as Bella Nails, Headspa & Lash, operates a nail, waxing, lash and head spa salon at 635 S Fifth St, Ste D, Hartsville, SC 29550. SMS text messaging program

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Program. After a waxing, facial or head spa service, we send one text message containing your aftercare instructions and the number to call if you have a reaction. This is a customer care program. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

How you opt in. In person at our salon. Before your service you review and sign a digital consent form on a tablet at our front desk. That form contains a separate, unchecked checkbox reading: "I agree to receive text messages from Bella Nails, Headspa & Lash (Bella Nail Headspa LLC) with my aftercare instructions after my service. About 1 message per visit. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Privacy Policy: bellanailsspasc.com/privacy-policy. SMS Terms: bellanailsspasc.com/sms-terms." You tap that checkbox yourself and then sign the form. Your consent, signature, and the date and time are stored with your client record. We never add a phone number without this step, and we do not buy, rent, or import phone number lists.

Message frequency. Approximately one message per salon visit — for most clients, one to two messages per month.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Bella Nails, Headspa & Lash does not charge for these messages; your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges apply according to your plan.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. You may also tell any staff member or call (843) 309-9034.

Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Full program terms are on our SMS Terms & Conditions page.

Information we collect

Contact information — your name, mobile phone number, and day and month of birth.
Service and health information you provide on our consent form, such as skin conditions, allergies, and medications that could affect a treatment.
Your signature and the date and time you signed, captured electronically on our tablet.
Visit records — the services performed and your initials confirming your health information at each visit.

We collect this information directly from you at the salon. We do not collect it from data brokers or purchased lists.

How we use your information

To perform your service safely and to know about conditions that make a treatment unsafe for you.
To keep a record of your consent, as required for our business and insurance.
To send you aftercare instructions by text message, if you agreed to receive them.
To contact you about your service or an appointment.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us operate, and only so they can perform that work for us:

Our cloud database and hosting provider, which stores consent records securely.
Our messaging provider and mobile carriers, solely to deliver the text message to you.

We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared for marketing or promotional purposes.

Data retention and security

Consent forms are kept for as long as needed for our business and insurance records, and signatures are stored in encrypted cloud storage with access limited to salon staff. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Minors

Clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian review and sign the consent form on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your choices

Text messages: reply STOP at any time, or ask us to remove your number.
Access and correction: ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it.
Deletion: ask us to delete your record, subject to any records we must keep by law or for insurance.
Withdraw consent: you may cancel your continuing consent at any time in writing.
